THe FOYER Federation - help us to help young people back into housing, and back into work

Virgin Media work very closely with Virgin Unite (Virgin's charitable arm) on it's Re*Generation programme - giving a leg-up to socially excluded young people and turning up the volume on the issues they face. As part of the Re*Generation project, Virgin Media has chosen The Foyer Federation as their charity for 2008, Foyer support more than 10,000 homeless 16 to 25 year-olds each year, giving them a chance to realise their full potential

They enable young people at risk to escape the 'no home-no job-no home' cycle by delivering a holistic service that integrates accommodation with training, job search, personal support and motivation. For more information on The Foyer Federation click here.
This year all teams will be donating their sponsorship to Foyer - focussing on one charity will have a big impact and make a huge difference to that charity.
We will also be making some special donations to Mountain Rescue and other charitable groups who support us over the two days's of the challenge.

So, what about the incentive bit then?

Well, how about this!  if we can smash through the £1000 barrier, we will forgo our lovely comfortable post challenge hotel room and will instead camp the night in tents.

If we can raise more than £2000 then we will waiver any remaining morality within the team and we will descend from Snowdon in our specially designed TEAM BIS Pants - yes, just the pants (and boots & backpack of course) - although we are unsure as to who is worse off - us yomping down the mountain in broad daylight in just pants, or the unfortunate folk who meet us on the way or see the photos!
