The National Three Peaks challenge often raises green issues, relating to both the logistics of running a team around the United Kingdom, and of course the physical effect on the local environment of the event.
TEAM BIS is commited to enjoying (!) the challenge, but ensuring the only damage done is to our legs & knees! We will take away only memories & our rubbish..
We have estimated our complete mileage for the challenge including getting the team to and from the event is approx 1500 miles. Using www.carbonfootprint.co.uk we have arranged for a wide leafed tree to be planted to offset our carbon emmissions throughout the event.
